In our union with Jesus Christ, we get a foretaste of a greater eschatological coffee while practicing Christian ethics, particularly Christian ethics pertaining to coffee. The need for clear communication of God’s grace in the realm of coffee is great.
If there is any value in Wellum's principal point, it continues to linger even over his own promoted basis for Christian ethics.
Goodness, truth, and beauty must work together. But many modern Christians have ceded the realm of beauty to modernist ideal of relativism: “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.” Christians need to be more consistent in their defence of an objective reality. We should continue to contend for objectivity in the realms of goodness and truth, but we should also contend that beauty is not in the eye of the beholder.
Fear for life and loved ones has given strength to our fallen natures, ensnaring precious brothers and sisters in the lie that torture may be defined/redefined/justified by a Christian.
We tend to think that what we believe holds more of a sway on us than what we actually practice throughout our days and our weeks.
