Meditation 2: “Hallowed” is Precious
Though God’s holiness can be intimidating, especially in the Old Testament, it is often demonstrated in something precious: our redemption. God’s holiness is often found associated with the deliverance of His people (Lev 11:45; 20:26).
God’s holiness is precious because it is command and given to us when we are delivered from our bondage to sin (Lev 19:2; 20:7). Proclaiming God’s holy name is to affirm
