Coming in at #3 is the GMAIL app for the iPhone.
Now the reason that this app makes the list is mainly due to a couple of personal preferences.
Firstly I think that Gmail as an all around product is a great tool.
Secondly I do not like Apple's "Mail". There are a couple reasons why:
- One of them is that I simply do not like the way that it works it does not run smoothly and it is difficult to get the "Mail" software on my computer to sync up with the "Mail" app on the iPhone.
- The other reason is that, using the gmail app, whatever I do on my iPhone corresponds with my Gmail inbox. If I receive a junk email on my phone and delete it, the email will also be deleted from my Gmail inbox next time I log in with my laptop. When you bring your Gmail through any other software your Gmail inbox stays full even when you delete something. Some people like this, but I am not one of them.
Let it be known my complaint about Apple's "Mail" is one of the only things I have ever complained about over apple products. So me putting this app on this list is a big deal in my book ;-)
