Introducing #TheologyForWomenMatters

Introducing #TheologyForWomenMatters

We are excited to present a series of pieces from ladies of multiple Christian traditions exploring the importance of Scripture and its doctrines to their lives, piety, and service to the church. This series will mostly be hosted here on TG, but it will include excerpts that re-direct to the hosting sites of the ladies who have taken their time to write passionately for the church.

The purpose of the series is multifaceted. We want to challenge the idea that theology is not important to laymen—and uniquely in this series to women. We want to encourage church communities to take seriously the theological education of women in the church. And finally, we want to encourage leaders in the church to be more hands-on in the theological education of the women in their church.

To this end, the pieces in this series will cover specific doctrines, the importance of their clarity, and the practical importance it has to the church.

With each post, TG will update this page with links. With each post, the hashtag #TheologyForWomenMatters will be utilized for further discussion beyond these pieces. The church needs to hear from you—The stories and doctrines that have impacted you. If you want to join us with a writing piece e-mail TorreyGazette@gmail.com. If you want to simply tell your story utilize #TheologyForWomenMatters on social media.
