Oh I get it - UNO cause he's one!

I've always disdained first birthday parties - however, I've always loved hosting and throwing events. Which is how Judah came to have a first birthday party...

Within minutes of agreeing he could have a celebration with family, I struck on the idea of an "UNO" theme, and the race was on! Enjoy these pictures of our wonderful day with this little ioy bundle - Judah Markus.

Chalkboard sign - artistic talents of my dad; festive pillars - daring feat of my mom!

Obsessed with being outside, this one-year-old crawls across any surface with ease and speed - look out for the turbo boost if you have in hand something he recognizes as food!

The Birthday Boy himself!

His one-of-a-kind shirt and photo backdrop!

I made Uno Paper Fans to hang throughout our home...this is the only picture I got!

A Handmade "Uno" Card Birthday Banner!

Joshua grilled fajitas, but our snack table attempted to stay in color theme...we just missed out by keeping the queso in the crockpot on the kitchen counter!

The cake... the cupcakes were a much bigger hit with those willing to consume sugar! aka the kids

Our house rang with laughter and the noise of far too many maracas. We prayed, sang, ate, and rejoiced in all the blessings the Lord has seen fit to give us. It was a good time and I hope for many, many more!

Happy Birthday Judah Markus!
