Weekend in Toxaway

This past weekend Caroline and I spent the weekend with her grandparents in Lake Toxaway, NC. The timing couldn't have been better for our visit because (apparently) we came on the best weekend of the year for viewing the leaves for the Fall color change! We arrived Friday for dinner and enjoyed an evening in with "Mimi" & "Grandaddy." Saturday morning we went to the annual Fall Festival in Brevard, NC where we spent most of the day. We were invited to a party on Saturday night where we were informed we brought the median age of the party attendants down about 40 years. Finally, Sunday morning we went to church and then had lunch at the club before heading back to Athens. I thought I'd share some pictures from the weekend here!

The quaint church we attended Sunday morning. It was a Methodist church so I had my reservations but it turned out well ;-)

All in all a great weekend!
