Weekly Round UP
In case you missed any of this weeks posts you can catch up right here!
Monday: Happy MLK Day! | I Have a Dream
Monday was MLK day and I commemorate it by posting MLK Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech. I said it there and I say it again here. If you haven't watched it you really should; an incredible display of rhetoric and passion!
Tuesday: Communicating Repugnance
Quoting Flannery O'Conner, I show why Christian writers must necessarily embrace "shock & awe" tactics in our desensitized modern world.
Wednesday: The Consequence of Ideas
Quoting Francis Schaeffer's book How Shall We Then Live, I show the differing consequences between the "Glorious Revolution" of England & the " Bloody Revolution" of France.
Thursday: Why Libertarians Have no Answer to Gays & the LGBT(P) Agenda
I this post I explain why the Libertarian argument for so called same sex "marriage" is so weak. The argument states that marriage is a private matter between two people (for now) therefore shouldn't be meddled with from without. I show how marriage is inherently public and needs the scrutiny of community.
Have a great weekend and make sure to check back Monday for some more food for thought!
